Dr. Monika Dihsmaier lectures on OLG Cologne: fragdenstaat.de
Dr. Monika Dihsmaier will speak again in 2021 at the workshop on copyright and media law of the Heidelberg Bar Association, this time on the judgment of the Cologne Higher Regional Court of May 12, 2021 (fragdenstaat.de). The workshop will take place on 17 and 18 September 2021 in Walldorf. The fragdenstaat.de ruling by the Cologne Higher Regional Court deals with the question of whether public authorities can prevent the publication of records or documents with reference to copyright law. The attempt by authorities to do so coined the term “censorship copyright” in the public mind.
